LBS believes in recognizing and awarding every single success of its students. We aspire to keep them in high spirits and motivated all the time. For students till class II, we only give Outstanding, Merit and Appreciation awards to keep them away from the race of positions and marks. From class III onwards, positions are awarded in school competitions. There are a few additional awards given to the deserving students based on the whole year’s performance:
ACADEMIC AWARDS
The following awards are given to students of class VI onwards:
PROFICIENCY CERTIFICATE: This certificate is awarded to students who scores an overall A1 grade in a subject.
SCHOLAR’S BADGE: A scholar’s badge is granted to students who score an overall A1 grade in a year.
SCHOLAR’S MEMENTO: A student who receives Scholar’s badge for three consecutive years will receive a Scholar’s Memento.
SCHOLAR’S TIE/SCARF: A student who scores a Scholar’s Badge for four consecutive years gets a Scholar’s Tie (For boys) or Scholar’s Scarf (for Girls) which the student can wear to school regularly.
SCHOLAR’S BLAZER: A student who scored a Scholar’s Bade for five consecutive years is given a Scholar’s Blazer.
OTHER AWARDS
Award of Excellence in CO-Curricular Activities: This Award is given to a student of class VI or above who participates in various school level and inter-school competitions and activities. The student should also have proved his merit in these competitions by his performance/prizes.
Award of Excellence in Sports: This is awarded to a student with international, national and state level achievements in Sports.
Student of the Year Award: This award is given once in two years to students of class VIII and above. The proud recipient of this award should display the following:
- Ability to take initiative for his/her Alma Mater
- Respect for School Authorities and Rules
- Adequate performance in Academics
- Exemplary Performance in Co-Curricular Activities/Sports
- Ability to represent School at various places
- Excellent Soft Skills
